We were a bit unsure when we arrived what to expect, the hotel is from a different era, but what a little gem. Our room was basic but comfortable, with a lovely view of the garden( with deer) and clean and warm.
We had booked for evening meal and how pleased we were that we had, the food was excellent and cooked to perfection- with a good variety of choice and plenty to eat, everything was fresh and local. The following morning the breakfast was also excellent.
The owners couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. The newly built gym and pool was a delight and was opened up especially for our use.Well worth a visit.
